Each clove bud is handpicked at peak maturity, just before blooming, to capture the maximum concentration of essential oils, particularly eugenol—the compound responsible for clove’s powerful aroma and natural antiseptic properties. After harvesting, the cloves are carefully sun-dried under controlled conditions to lock in their strength, color, and quality.
